A wholesale bait distributor in Beaufort, North Carolina is hiring a forklift operator for peak season starting now. This is a warehouse environment with tight spaces and real production volume. If you have stand-up forklift experience and experience working in a warehouse, we want to talk.
This is a seasonal contract through October. You will be working in a production warehouse where conditions include a freezer and wet processing areas daily. The team moves product every day. Weekly pay.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hour, paid weekly via direct deposit
Schedule: Full-time hours, based in the warehouse in Beaufort, NC
Location: Beaufort, NC
Type: Seasonal contract through October. Potential for long-term employment based on experience/needs.

What You Will Do

Operate stand-up forklift and electric pallet jacks in tight warehouse and freezer areas throughout the shift
Receive incoming shipments - verify quantity and condition against packing lists, reject damaged items, and document all discrepancies accurately
Organize and place materials in designated storage areas following FIFO (first in, first out)
Label and tag materials and mark information on cases and containers to maintain accurate warehouse inventory
Assist with bait packaging and production process as needed throughout the day
Operate vacuum packaging equipment, air-powered tools, and other warehouse machinery safely
Work in freezer environments and wet conditions consistently while maintaining all safety standards

What We Are Looking For
Required

Stand-up forklift experience required
Warehouse experience required - shipping, receiving, production, or distribution environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand or walk for the duration of a full shift
Must be able to match orders on shipping tickets to items picked accurately
Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
