iBoost Talent is hiring for an Assembly / Manufacturing Associate located in Fairfield, NJ. Our positions are full-time, year-around employment with paid training.
Pay $17.00 per hour
Schedule 1st Shift; Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm with occasional overtime
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for performing light assembly, machining, or packaging of manufactured products while maintaining the specified the quality, efficiency, and inventory control requirements. Work assignments will be scheduled based on training proficiency.

Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding and executing verbal instructions related to your duties.
- Inspecting work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Transporting completed products to designated locations using proper material handling methods.
- Monitoring and replenishing raw materials as needed for operations.
- Completing all required documentation and electronic data updates.
- Preparing and packaging units for shipment.
- Assisting with various duties across departments as necessary.
- Maintaining a clean workstation in accordance with 5S procedures.
- Achieving or exceeding pre-established performance objectives.

- Identifying and reporting workplace hazards while participating in safety programs and initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Basic mechanical, math, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in operating equipment such as basic machining posts, saws, paint sprayers, and hoists.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and associated procedures.
- Competence in using measurement tools like tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (hand drills, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.).
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Proven reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Understanding of basic lean principles (5S, Kanban).
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
This position requires standing for 8 hours a day, with coordinated hand and finger movements for grasping, manipulating, and assembling objects. You will frequently use vibrating/pneumatic tools and may need to reach overhead, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, or squat. The role involves lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs regularly. Depending on the tasks assigned for the day, you may have to sit or stand more or less frequently. Typical assembly work is repetitive in nature.
